Sorting out things

Coming back home for the summer is turning out to be a mistake--I literally cannot sit down for one full hour without someone in my family beckoning me to do something. Cooking, cleaning, helping my grandpa around...driving for the most part has taken up the most time. Taking relatives to graduation ceremonies, parties, groceries, shopping, errands...I always end up coming home exhausted and not wanting to do anything. Today's update is the first thing I've drawn in weeks. I've already packed my belongings to move although I'm still looking for a new apartment before I start summer class in about a month...I've been really busy!

I'll try to update when I can until then.

Hiatus

Sorry, I should have mentioned this eons ago - It's National Novel Writing Month. I'm approximately 3,000 words behind! Hiatus until the end of November.

Also, applying for grad school in a PAIN.

Updating

Sorry, everyone. I'm going to be uploading once a week instead of twice. The more I draw, the more frustrated I've been getting. I'm in a complete funk right now. I couldn't explain it if I tried.

I feel like I keep letting you guys down. This is my last semester of college...will I even get time to draw comics after graduating? I don't know. Maybe that is what is depressing me?

Sorry again. I've just been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past week.

Twice a week?

I was reading a thread on the SJ forum about how many pages should be uploaded per week. Everyone seemed to agree that the norm is 2-3 pages.

I'll be honest with you - I really have no excuse about updating with only one page a week, or even later. I have a very flexible class schedule this semester, and it is my overall laziness that is the reason behind update schedule slips. I know I'm capable of finishing two pages a week, but I'm just worried that maybe the quality of pages will diminish. What do you think?

If I end up deciding on doing two pages a week, that means I might as well script and thumbnail the entire first volume. The first volume goes to chapter 6, and I'm on chapter 3 now, so...

Sorry. Pointless announcement is pointless.

See you later

I'm going on vacation (or more precisely, an impromptu family trip) for a few months. I'll be back in August. I'm not sure if I'll be able to update while I'm gone. I hope you all have a great summer!
